In 2018, after witnessing friends and colleagues struggle with financial advice that was fragmented and contradictory, Sarah realized that personal finance was missing an architectural perspective. People were buying "curtains" (investments) before they had a "foundation" (debt management and emergency reserves). They were building "extensions" (speculative trading) on "unstable ground" (lack of insurance and estate planning).
Sarah founded Web Design Academy to bring the discipline of engineering to the world of money. The "Web" in our name refers to the intricate, interconnected nature of financial health—the "web of wealth" where every strand must be strong for the whole to hold.
